Tui Na literally means “to push” and to “lift and squeeze”. Tui Na is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine which uses massage, and also moxa and cupping, to bring the body into balance. The massage therapist will knead, roll and press along the body moving energy through the muscles and the meridians of the body. The therapist could use oil, or no oil. Tui Na can be gentle or quite firm, and it can be very gentle when treating the elderly, babies and children.
Tui Na aids in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions, through bringing the body into balance.
